Main data processing information:

Personal data collected via GlobalTips application and the designated website (together the “Platform”) is processed by GlobalTips Europe, UAB, a company established in Lithuania, legal entity code 305942984, registered address Lviv str. 25-104, LT-09320 Vilnius, Lithuania ("Company” or “GlobalTips”). GlobalTips will be mainly acting as a data controller of the personal data collected from the users of its service (e.g., tip payers, salespeople, waiters, hosts, administrators, concierges and other service providers) (hereinafter – the “Users”).

Our main data processing purposes:

Your data subject rights: to obtain information about your stored personal data, the right to correct and transmit your data and, if necessary, to object to (when data is processed based on our legitimate interest or your consent), restrict the processing of, or deleting of, your personal data. You also have a right to submit a claim at the Data Protection authority of the country of your residence.

DATA SECURITY

This Privacy policy explains how personal data is collected and further processed by the data controller when the User is using our no-cash tip solution and/or otherwise interacts with us in relation to the provision of services. Please read this document carefully because it explains how your personal data is processed by us.

We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.

Data collected for the purposes of the provision of services will be stored until you have an account with us. The transaction related data will be stored for the period of up to 8 years based on the statutory requirements.

Data collected for the purposes of customer service shall be stored until your request is duly processed and answered and 6 months after that in order to be able to defend from any claims that may arise. The feedback will be stored for the period up to 1 month, unless it is necessary for the disciplinary procedure.

Data collected for purposes of improvement of our website shall be stored as long as the cookie is embedded in your end device. Please refer to cookie policy below.

Data collected for the purposes of statistics shall be stored as long as the cookie is embedded in your device. This data will be anonymized and stored until the statistical information shall be relevant for the business.

Please note that we use a payment service provider Stripe. This service provider processes your personal data for its own business related purposes, therefore, we urge you to read carefully their terms and conditions and privacy policy.

Right to submit your claim with the supervisory authority: if you are not satisfied with our response to your request in relation to personal data or you believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law, you can submit your claim with the supervisory authority in your country of residence or to the lead supervisory authority – the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate at www.ada.lt.
